I think this deserves its own thread, GMG and Playfire will give away 4 games this weekend.

http://blog.greenmangaming.com/

Zombies. Available from 1200 GMT Friday 8th for 24 hours.
Ninja Blade is available from 1200 GMT Saturday 9th for 24 hours.
Unstoppable Gorg as he stops for a brief moment and becomes FREE for 24 hours from 1200 GMT Sunday 10th.
Dive into Superstars V8 Next Challenge as it goes FREE for 24 hours from 1200 GMT Monday 11th.

They all use Capsule DRM, still a great giveaway though.

Thanks for letting us know. Looks like interesting giveaway. Will try and be there :D
Do I have to sign up or install a client to get these?

jcoa: install a client to get these
I think that's the main purpose behind the giveaway. Like there are not enough clients already.
"Over this weekend we'll be giving away FOUR completely free PC download games just to members of Playfire and Green Man Gaming.

What do you need to do? You only need to have a GMG account (and because you're a cool frood you already do), a Playfire account (where you'll be able to track your games!) and then to follow this very quick step to link those accounts!"
Free games, yay! I guess?

Are the games good enough to justify creating an account, or should I use that time to play some better games instead?

Hmm, do I want to create a Playfire account to get Ninja Blade & a racing game I'll never play?

Nah.

Nah.
Ninja Blade is worth it for free for sure. It was released on the Xbox 360 also.
You'll probably be able to trade them in, so this will be worth $2 or so, which you can then use to buy something else.

Also for anyone who doesn't have a GMG account it's best to get a referral when you sign up. That would give you (and the person who gave you the referral link) $2 credit when you spend your first $2 or more.
First game, Zombies. free for today!
Time to hammer that site down!
Got Zombies a few minutes back. Surprisingly servers were not crashes :D Enjoy it while they are up!
I do not trust Playfire at all. It's history of highly suspect malware and spamming turns me right off even going on the site. I have and still do buy GMG games such as Sleeping Dogs and the massively bug infested Dragonborn DLC but no way am I going to sign up to what is essentially a massive personal data mining website. Facebook is well and truly bad enough to deal with.
Do I need a credit card to even get these free games? Cause I don't have one, not even Paypal.

No, I just clicked right through.
