I missed most of the stuff somehow. Only caught the anagram one from yesterday and now this one today. Seconded on the lurkers thing though, I consider myself somewhat of a lurker from time to time as I go long periods without posting but I am feeling very outclassed.
Interesting to see just how many people there are around the forums though. I'm suddenly self conscious.

Then, after a week or two will be the announcement that GOG.com is officially changing its name to IFOPLA.com and selling nothing but cartoony platformers (Iffy Overpriced Platformers.com), then two weeks later another name change to GOGAIFPLAWVEPACAAR.com (Good Old Games And Iffy Platformers with Very Expensive Point and Click Adventures and Remakes.com) and sell many more platformers with very expensive point-and-clicks and remakes with about one classic every three years or so.
After that, two small lumps of putty will shout "Neep Neep Neep!!!" and the entire world will come to an end.
Okay, that was all in good fun. Now for what will really happen:
GOG will have another great sale, they will give away at least one more goodie (maybe Major Stryker or Halloween Harry since both are available free through 3D realms' site, but they would be even better with the full GOG treatment). On top of that, probably Wing Commander Prophecy Gold will be released as well as Wing Commander Armada at $5.99 each. There will be at least one new publisher (and, yes, it could be Lucasarts as it actually is plausible that Disney will work with GOG as it is a win-win for both parties) and probably another indie bundle or two (or perhaps an Indy bundle if they do land Disney/Lucasarts).
After that, we will wait a couple of months, then it's time for the Holiday celebrations to begin.
Suffice it to say, I think this will be a good rest of the year for GOG and all of us in the GOG fan community.

Anyone knows, when this "Grand Finale" will be? I can't find any information about this.
By the way - I won't write nothing new, but In my opinion the most possible options are discounts (maybe for whole catalogue? I'm quite surprised that the GOG's Birthdays "have" less attractive promos than "periodical" sales during Christmas and Summer) and some "hot" relase(s).

If I could venture a guess, one or more of the following will happen:
-Announcement of official GOG Linux support
-Another batch of Mac-compatible games
-Another round of expansion packs/bonus content for games already on the site
-Some sort of sale on a large portion of the catalog
-One (or more) additional freeware release(s)
-A paid game from the catalog being made free for 24 hours
-Another treasure of the past, courtesy of Night Dive
-Announcement of an agreement with a much sought after and elusive publisher (Disney/LucasArts, Take 2, Microsoft, etc.)

I hope it's not Take-Two, but I know it's going to be... Disney, you are sitting on a gold mine here. Just authorize a re-release of the LucasArts back catalogue and people will buy it. How is it that Disney of all companies just can't wrap their heads around the concept of free money?
