I was looking at this Neogaf thread and I though we may do something similar with our beloved GOG titles. It's as simple as creating an awesome cover for the GOG game you want. I will start with some Duke Nukem love. ^____^

there was a thread where someone was going through and making covers for every gog game.. I think it died though.
Anyway, covers are for printers, and printers are for old people who waste money and hate forests.

Some people just love good looking covers (not necessary for printing purpouses)
This is what Wec is referring to:

Can I get this right in my head. You nick a Duke Nukem poster from somewhere, put a green square on the bottom with early 70's writing that says "the GOG collection" and that is you spreading the "Love" ?

Mmm... I don't know what you mean by "nick a Duke Nukem poster from somewhere". I just used the logo from one picture and the "Duke Nukem" name from another picture to make something nice. It's ok if you don't like it, but at least be polite. ^___^
EDIT: Also, the difference between the other thread and this, is that this thread is suppossed to be more a creative thing.
EDIT2: Added a Stonekeep cover.

I fail to see how this is more creative than Red's work.

As far as I can see, Red's covers are the "normal" ones just ready to be printed. What I would like to see is something different...
Nope, not the normal ones at all. They do make use of original box art, but they have been "GOGified"
I just created a cover for Fallout 2, inspired by the prior topic... What do you people think of it? Feedback is appreciated: http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/7249/fallout2copy.jpg

That's what I meant.
Now the feedback: IMO, there is too much contrast between the red filter and the blue shade logo. Also, the cover is too similar to the Fallout 1 one.

The similarity is probably because the front guy is from FO1 :D But, I will try to change the logo's shade to red-ish tomorrow.
EDIT: Yeah, Weclock, I know, just couldn't quickly dig up a cd-logo :/ Will fix it for V2.

I think he wants these covers to be the videogame equivalent of the Criterion Collection covers.
