My avatar is female, and her favorite genres are sleeping in the sunshine, chasing the other dog around in mad circles, and treats.
Not sure about mine:
I'd love sims if I had the hardware to give them their proper due.
RPGs can be fun for me but my enthusiasm for them seems to peter-out once I learn the game mechanics and it turns into more-of-the-same.
I enjoy the isometric-shooter games I've tried.
FPS can be fun, so long as they don't take themselves too seriously. I lean toward SP like FarCry, or offline BF1942.
RTS is fun if they don't require mastery of build-lists and hotkeys in order to win.
Guess that means RTS, FPS, and iso-shooters like Alien Shooter (though I should try more of these to be certain). But sims are close to the top, only awaiting proper peripherals.

Crewdroog: However, for every dumb comment, you do get a nice one. When I first got my PS3 I bought a bunch of games like Borderlands 2, FO:NV, Skyrim and Dark Souls. When I checked out, the guy said in a very serious tone, "You just picked out the best games in this store" and fist bumped me. :)
sunshinecorp: Oh (wo)man! I'm so conflicted right now. As much as I love Borderlands 2 and New Vegas, I hate Dark Souls and (probably) Skyrim. Saying probably because I only liked the first Arena, and a bit of Daggerfall, but was sorely disappointed by the rest and never played Skyrim but it looks more of the same. Edit: And how can you not like Oblvion??? 0.o :)

Crewdroog: Dark Souls is still sitting on my shelf unplayed, as are many other games. I really dislike Skyrim when compared to it's predecessors. Skyrim I have often described as a pretty but hollow game. This has not stopped me from playing 500 hours of the f-ing game though. :) Crewdroog

However, when I hear of the Elder Scrolls, I remember how much I loved Redguard. It's a very different game than the rest. I'm going to go see if it's on the community wishlist. It probably is, I probably have voted on it or added the wish myself and don't even remember. *sigh*

What are you top 3 game genres and why?
Mine tend to vary depending on the system.
For computer my top three would be point and click adventure, puzzle, and action adventure.
----I am pretty open to try any game. I do not have the skill or the patience to get into Racing games.
When it comes to console games (which is normally my 3DS) I would have to say Adventure (which is hard to find a true adventure game for the DS) RPG, Action Platformer.
editing to add why in a few.. Basement flooded and taking a mini break from cleaning it up..
I know I should not feed the trolls but....Since I am female should I call someone to do it for me so I do not break a nail?

Briareos262: .....umm your avatar looks like a my little pony character. >_> I only know this because I used to work retail =P
My avatar is a My Little Pony character! Fluttershy is the manliest manliness that ever manlied! Briareos262: I still stand by my statement that a good majority of guys wouldn't get the playful meaning of said topic title.
And I would stand by a statement that said that this is not necessarily the case, and quite likely not the case at all. :) Klumpen0815: I just hate overpowered characters with as much personality as an amoeba. I always smile when Batman beats him again and again..
Batman beats up Superman (and other highly powerful heroes and villains) on a fairly regular basis. Not considered overpowered.

I was wondering what a mighty warrior wearing pink bunny ears would use for weapons in Diablo. Now I Know, claws :-).
Sadly I have to have short nails, they get broken too easily when I'm at work. I'll just stick to the good old sword, axe, club or +1 mace for destroying my enemies.

hahaha, actually, the assassin is my favorite class in Diablo 2 :) Sadly I have to have short nails, they get broken too easily when I'm at work. I'll just stick to the good old sword, axe, club or +1 mace for destroying my enemies.
I have short nails as well. Mine just don't grow well and I am too lazy to bother trying. Besides, I garden and i hate getting dirt under my nails. And yeah, dual daggers and a bow for me :)
