F1ach: I loved AP.
Other games that I love that were bad sellers :
Too Human, I really loved that game, but the strange controls put people off at the time, Once you got used to the controls you would wonder why more games didnt use them.
metro 2033, the games economics I think put people off, a survival horror shooter, where bullets were the games currency.
Clive Barkers Jericho, dunno why it flopped so bad, I loved the ability to switch characters and gamestyle. I think people hated the QTE's.
Far Cry 2, I loved that game and the gfx were very immersive, people hated the respawning checkpoints and the malaria thing, never really bothered me tbh, more checkpoints = more shooting, if you dont like shooting, why play a FPS?? The malaria was a plot point for missions/quests, but people hated it, dunno why.
I bought too human today as well, Even though i had a copy when i was younger (i destroyed all my games back then, didn't really care about them. Came to a point where i realised this stuff costs and i actually wanted to collect this stuff. So now im a gamer and a collector)
Also, Far cry 2 is brilliant, i love just sitting on a hillside, my vehicle parked next to me as i observe a camp for around 3 minutes, analyzing AI Movements and then taking out each person accordingly. It's not a game I'd recommend for casuals.
Metro 2033 im yet to get around to, I've got it of my bro (Basically, if he's got anything he finds too hard or doesn't care about and i find it, he will practically just give it to me, otherwise he would end up getting it all scratched up anyways and that is unacceptable.) but i have started it and enjoyed how the weapons handled, i dont really like the voice acting though, i guess it kind of irritates me because of the accent difference between countries. (And no, aussies aren't the rough tone of voice stereotype you've probably heard of.)
