Abobo's Big Adventure is a pretty fun game. You play the game's namesake from the Double Dragon games in his search for his kidnapped son through a series of levels based-on classic games like: Legend of Zelda, Double Dragon, Mega Man, Balloon Fight, Pro Wrestling, Super Mario Bros., and a couple of others. Each one of them play as you think they would, for the most part, with references and nods to other characters and games at every turn. It definitely can be difficult at times (curse you, Balloon Fight level!), but overall an enjoyable experience for me when I played it (I donated and got to play it right when it released).
For free, you can't really go wrong though!
