Sure it might be a hell of a long wait and will almost certainly require a PhysX capable video card but The Force Unleashed is going to be out on PC in the form of the Sith Edition . The upside being that this is the complete compilation with the base game plus all of the content that console players have had to pay extra for and then some (this new special edition is also coming for consoles).
The first DLC was a bit unambitious, it felt like another level of the game rather than something spectacularly cool but the fact it felt like another level from the game wasn't really a bad thing since it was still fun for all the same reasons that the game was (and frustrating for the same reasons).
The second addon (which I think is due quite soon) is a 'what if' thing that shows what would have happened after the main game ending if your character chose the darker path, you get to hunt down Obi Wan on Tattooine and apparently visit Jabba and beat up (and possibly kill since its a what if) Boba Fett
The third addon (thats apparently not being made as DLC for the consoles in the hopes people will buy this Sith Edition) seems especially interesting, its also a what if in the same vein as the second and by the look of the trailer, you get to go to Hoth & kill Luke Skywalker!
While the game does have its problems, I rather enjoyed it myself so barring a major fuckup conversion wise it should be a decent purchase if you like action platformy type games.

I was considering getting the PSP version, but I wasn't sure if it was worth it.
I may be more tempted by a PC version though.

Yeah the controls might be a bit weird, the force grip in particular needs both thumbsticks on the 360. Then again I suppose moving the mouse can do up down left right and the arrow keys (or ws if you.re one of THOSE types) can do towards & away.
Assuming a 3 button mouse, I'd put attack on the left button, block on the right & force push on the middle
The thing that really gets me these days is the lack of refinement for movement in PC games, what I really need for when I build a new gaming PC is a keyboard with analogue arrow keys. Its not really an issue in TFU since there's no real places where you need it but I still like to just walk slowly and blast the shit out of everything with force push, feels more menacing that way

Gee, I guess I'd better start saving up for that "00 high-end system" the producer, Cameron Suey, said would be needed to play this game on high on a PC (seriously).
Oh, and The Force Unleashed uses Havok, not PhysX; Havok has no hardware acceleration. It is very unlikely that they would completely change the physics engine for the PC version just to take advantage of hardware acceleration which only Nvidia users can benefit from anyway.

Naaah. First the pissed off PC gamers. Now they piss off the consoleros who bought it for 70$, finished it after 4 hours, and now need to put additional money on the table for the "complete" version.
Marketing at it's best.

While it would certainly be possible to build a $4000 desktop PC, if you went out of your way to find the most expensive components possible, I'm pretty sure I could make one just as capable for less than half that. My current machine was absolutely state of the art when I built it a few years ago, and it cost about $2000, including my 22" widescreen LCD monitor. Who in their right mind would spend $4000 on a PC?
Which is a shitty argument for buying a PC game. Damned lazy console ports...

^My current PC exceeds the max. requirements overall for most games today and cost me about $500.
Some games just work better with a controller no matter what you do..I'm saying since the mechanics with this one are pretty unique, a controller might be best.
I don't own consoles so it's not a console vs. PC thing for me, really, assuming the game is well done.

A game that comes out a year later for the PC than consoles, in my opinion, is rarely worth more than $10.

I personaly get a warm feeling inside when ever console gamers get ripped off. That could just be me though :D

Actually it uses Euphoria, the same physics engine that powered GTA4. Thus, I'm gonna assume you'll need a quad-core CPU. (or at least a very nice dual-core CPU)
