This may have been discussed already but I used the search and didnt see it.

"Gee Oh Gee" as most of us know got Fallout 1 & 2 along with the tactics spin off.

What would you think if Fallout 3 GOTY and NV ultimate were released at $19.99 and $29.99 respectively?

I dont think this will happen anytime soon but its a hypothetical thing that came into my head after (what i believe) is all but 1 H/M&M games are now here
I would buy them...
i couldn't care less because i already own f3 goty on steam.
Same thing as Uulav I guess. I already have them on Steam
I would buy em if I had the cash as soon as it came available. I own them on consoles, but would love to get them on PC for the mods & such.

I would also love to see Morrowind and Oblivion also. I think they would boost GOG's sales, if the price was right. (Maybe a 2 for 1 deal/sale like AC & HoMM)
30usd? Nope, i can get a boxed version cheaper than that.
1) I have them on Steam, 2) If you really want a complete Fallout collection, you can vote for Wasteland in the wishlist.
Nope. It wont happen. If GOG keeps with the no-drm policy you can forget about Fallout 3 and New Vegas here. Fallout 3 uses GFWL and NV uses steamworks. Both are built into the game and are necessary for some features such as achievements. I doubt Bethesda would go through the hassle of removing both DRM just to release the game here. Most people who wanted the game already have it. Why bother?

Im actually wondering what will happen next year, when all Fallout rights, including the rights to the old games, will go from Interplay to Bethesda. Will these games still be available for new buyers? I really dont know, as it doesnt look like GOG has a deal with Bethesda.

I was wondering that too. GOG hasn't signed Bethesda/Zenimax for selling their games here, so unless there's a special, unknown agreement regarding these games, they'll disappear from the store, I think.
To OP: sounds good to me, I'd buy them at some point.

There's always untapped market for DRM-free games since not all people want to buy only terminable "rental games". If it was really true that "most people who wanted the game already have it", then obviously Steam couldn't sell any more copies of either games anymore, and they could just as well remove them from their catalog, right? That doesn't make much sense.

I could be wrong, but I remember reading somewhere that GFWL is not required for the Fallout 3 GotY edition. For example:

http://www.amazon.com/Games-for-Windows-Live/forum/FxVDAL6DR0HXVU/TxML3YKF0FAKMB/1/ref=cm_cd_NOREF?_encoding=UTF8&cdItems=25&asin=B002BXKJA0&store=generic&cdSort=oldest#Mx7DLB26HGTELD

I own this, and I've never had to sign up for GFWL or sign in to anything. Even the DLC works without it (the method H. Le describes is actually used by Bethesda's own DLC installer on the second disc).
And since the internet seems to be full of instructions how to disable GFWL (in also Fallout 3), I don't think it is really _required_ by the single-player game.

Don't worry, if the warez scene can remove GFWL and Steam requirements so can GOG. ;)
I have New Vegas and Fallout 3 on 360, sans expansions. I don't think I've even found all there is to find in the normal games yet so for right now I wouldn't (Along with that my laptop hardware couldn't handle it)

I would buy it from GoG. The Fallout 3 install has light DRM (requires disk and doesn't work with emulators/cracks... at least not reasonably effectively... I believe its Securom, which I'm not very fond of).

This caused me to avoid NV completely, which I believe has much more serious DRM anyway... so I've never played it, but would love to if it came in a way that I could play it on my terms.

Yeah, it's really not hard for those guys to rip Steam/GFWL right out of the picture. GOG can get most of those games if the publisher didn't care about that stuff getting ripped out.

I'd buy Fallout NV with all DLC and all those goodies for $20.

I think F3 GOTY would be fine for $20.
However, I don't think GOG should go beyond the already somewhat (and relatively) steep $20 price point; I'd rather they waited until they can sell it as a premium edition for $20.
