They've got over 16k sales in a day! I think this might be the more successful IR bundle so far.

I started Blackwell Deception yesterday. It's great to see Rosangela and Joey back, shame about their character portraits. I wish the next Blackwell game gets a better artist.

I actually thought the portraits were well done. My problem was with the sprites.

And it's weird because Ben Chandler is generally regarded as a good artist.

They are too cartoony IMO. Normally I'm fine with cartoony but the style makes them look too different from the previous games. Joey is fine most of the time except for his chin but Rosangela looks like a dude with a wig. Did you see the photo of Jeremy and Rosa in a pub? They look barely human. I don't think that artist has a basic understanding about drawing the human body.

Gazoinks: Hm. Is it okay to play Deception if I haven't played the previous Blackwell games?
It's not exactly the continuation of story from The Blackwell Convergence, so you could play it and not be too confused, but since the characters (and their relationship) evolve over time, it would be better to play the games in order (if only to know from the beginning who those guys are :) )

I just bought the bundle. I was going to activate it on Desura with the code given... but all the games were already in my games list...!?
I tried anyway to activate the bundle, but it says that I already have that bundle... (O_O)

Is the bundle automatically activated on Desura? If that's so, what is the point the code given to you? :P

It's automatically activated if you're logged into your Indie Royale/Desura account (on the IR site) when you make the purchase. If you're logged out while purchasing, the key isn't redeemed.

If your Desura account is linked to the same mail address as your bundle, then it will automatically be added. The code is there in case you use two different mail addresses.

Well it's only automatically activated if you are signed into IndieRoyale with your Desura account. Since that's optional there's a code.

Am I the only one that thinks that this bundle has actually managed to top the Humble Bundle 6?

I mean, HIB 6 was good, but it was full of games that half the world and its dog already had...
