Good afternoon everyone.

I thought I'd write up a topic on this one, given that it's time for the annual March Mayhem voting contest over on the Escapist. Why would I announce it here, you ask? Read on ye silly obvious person.

The March Mayhem is essentially a voting contest in which the voters vote for their personal favourite gaming producer. Obvious contenders like EA games, Valve and Blizzard entertainment are part of the lineup, but one company there prompted me to announce the March Mayhem to GOG.com: CD Projekt.

That's right, the owner of our most beloved GOG.com is present in the lineup. Let us, as the GOG community, see it makes it as far as possible!

That will be all. Links below.

Lash, signing off :)

Have fun!
We all voted for CDProjekt there last year, it made no real difference. The final will be Blizzard and Nintendo again and Nintendo will win again.

As they should.... When it comes to publishers, Nintendo typically makes the best first party games of any system.
Didn't know about GOG.com last year, but still, I feel attempting to drum up some extra votes would be nice, no?

Plus, weren't the finals between Valve and Bioware last year?

Valve beat out Zynga in what was possibly the most commented-on matchup of that year. After that, quite a few people didn't care about the actual finals :P

Oh well, my personal favourites this year will be CD Projekt and Blizzard Entertainment.

It's nothing to do with quality it's how many fanboi's each company can muster and Nintendo calls them legion for they are many. Every company will sound the horn of urgency to all their fanboi's (even GOG will make a post about it, mark my words) and then it will come down to numbers.

Last year the biggest numbers were between CD Projekt, Relic, BioWare, Sqeenix, Sega, Capcom, Konami, Nintendo, Bungie, Turbine and Blizzard.
CDprojekt VS Gamefreak

A company that has hardworking people, that makes quality games and gives customers value for money VS A company that right now does nothing but lazy pokemon game rehashes and will continue to do so until the end of time

GEEE - I WONDER WHO IS BETTER AND MORE IMPORTANT

GOG had quite a few, high profile write ups and game releases since then. It can't hurt to do it again. Winning is great, mindshare is even better and CD Projekt doesn't need to win to get more of that.

Have you actually played any of those Pokemon games? They're actually some of the most well done games I've ever played. There's so much gameplay packed into that little cartridge I'm sometimes astounded. Not only that, they go to great lengths to ensure compatibility so you end up being able to use your DS Pokemon team battling on the Wii Battle Revolution title, can seamlessly park Pokemon on Pokemon Ranch, never loose your favorite Pokemon by migrating and trading them, etc.

I'm not a Nintendo fan, but Pokemon is one of the strongest franchises they have going for their systems. And Gamefreak puts out solid releases and I'm gonna use all caps for this next part, be warned, WITH NO DAMNED BUGS THAT I'VE FOUND. Take that Bioware, Rockstar and any other "top dog" game developer out there.

Great. Another online gaming poll to determine either which gang of fanboys is best at Internet raids.

Well, I didn't own any of the old gen games, I think I found some of the GBA, FireRed, LeafGreen ones for my kiddo. I just watched some supposedly fantastic game just lock up on me again, and lock up my entire XBox 360 not 3 minutes ago. I can't speak for anything but 4th gen on (and a bit 3rd gen) but I just don't get that crap happening to me on my DS and especially not playing Pokemon games.

Nintendo wont win, I guarantee it. Look at what it's running against to start. ;)

You know, I just took a closer look at the brackets, I like how the few cool companies are stuck in the same two or three low level brackets. There's no way more than one cool company can get very far.
Gearbox and Beth will go head to head near the end I think. CD Projekt will might be lucky to win the first stage, but they have only released one game, that is a PC only RPG... doubt they will go anywhere on the brackets.
Turbine and CD Projekt went head to head... it was a tough decision.

Also, where is Atlus? They would've been my #1 in a heartbeat.

Atlus wasn't there, yet the developer that made Too Human was???
