Time for a public service notice: since I just discovered there is a chance the competition might go viral on social networks (and if that happens, I definitely won't be able to control it!), I have had to put on a maximum allowed number of entries, currently set at 80. I don't know if we are going to get that many participants, but just in case. It is only me and three others here we will judge in this competition, and we can't take hundreds of participants. That said, I would still like to thank those who spread the word, I know you mean well, and I'm grateful for that. :)
I will try to be flexible and allow for more contributions above 80 as well (maybe even up to a hundred), but not too much.

liquidsnakehpks: i know this can be a bad question to ask...but just wanted to know..
are you sure the gog edition is the best one? apart from being drm free and the great extra features and of course we would be supporting the devs directly..
i also find the steam version of it very interesting, i dont know if what i read is true but from the steam forums i gathered that the witcher 2 on steam has
-Digital Premium Edition Features ie the extras
- auto steam updates since all steam games update from the client
-steamworks features such as achievements and cloud saving
-no drm mentioned yet other than steam itself
-the damn steam screenshot feature and the chat in game ...
so i know many here detest steam, but which version do you think would be better?
of course if the gog version provides a cd key which can be registered on steam then this doubt is useless....
[i personally prefer cloud saving and steam cause i have got most of my games there]
but would love to know what others think
Only the GOG version got the Downloadable Collector's Edition Artbook, along with store credit (which translates back to the winners in this competition), and most importantly: the option to preload. The Witcher 2 will also be released sooner on GOG than anywhere else: Monday 16th of May at 10:00 PM GMT. Rest of the web need to wait for Tuesday. Other than that, the two versions are pretty much identical except for the Steamworks features, which is a matter of taste. I could perhaps ask the winners which version they prefer, but since this competition is hosted on GOG and indeed made for GOG, it seems kinda awkward to go some place else... :Pare you sure the gog edition is the best one? apart from being drm free and the great extra features and of course we would be supporting the devs directly..
