Are there any mods out there that make late-game characters any less exponential? I remember I gave up playing at around level 35 or so because I was casually rolling minor "Bosses" without even going near my massive stock of overpowered potions from 100 alchemy. (Potions were like 200 points a second for 2 minutes, and beyond)

ShadowWulfe: Morrowind and mods... I feel like that is a game in and of itself.
If it's anything like Oblivion modding I think I see where you're coming from.

Aaron86:
Oblivion modding is a joke compared to Morrowind modding.

To Solar1313, I imagine there are difficulty enhancers, but if you want a good challenge mod, then check out Ghostpath.
Well I installed Morrowind code patches and going to play a couple of hours without mods then charge in with mods.

You absolutely must get this. If it's your first play I don't recommend too many mods that affect gameplay. The link is for the Morrowind Overhaul which is mainly a complete retexture of the game. It looks beautiful and is essential.

P.S. Yes, this post is a hell of a necro, but I always feel warm and fuzzy when someone searches for an answer before posting a question in a new thread. Please, do more of this :D

Hehe, I was just about to post this mod! This is a must have mod imo It just enhances the beauty of the game, keeping the textures as is in the game (from what I've seen).

JudasIscariot: Who is brave enough to brave the terrifying terrors that lie deep in the heart of Muffinwind?
I was hoping for some kind of vaginal joke.
So will it increase the amount of gpu needed? Just curious.
I suggest Overhaul, great set of graphical mods but needs a good computer.

It's better graphics (more pixels/whatever) so yes, but I doubt it's anything substantial.
Morrowind Overhaul if you've got a good PC.
Probably not then.
Stuck with a crappy little laptop.

Anyways. I just bet a dark brotherhood assassin at level 1 armed with chitin equipment, and an iron saber. Is that something unusual?
I never remember doing something like that during the I played xbox.

Get the "Run like the Wind" mod if you don't want to be smashing your head against the desk because of the atrocious crawling speed. The original speed is just unplayable for an open world game where you can't quick travel. Best of all, the mod increases the walking speed of all NPCs as well, so it doesn't change the balance of the game. There is also a mod that lets you not lose stamina when running but that does change ht ebalance of the game.

Attacks by Dark Brotherhood assassins are used as the intro to the Tribunal expansion. Tribunal was only released on XBox as part of the GOTY edition, so if you were only playing the original Morrowind release you wouldn't have encountered any of the Dark Brotherhood attacks.

I see. No wonder.

Also I've realized that the game is actual quite enjoyable as is, besides the absolute slow walking/running speed. What a difference five years make.

But yes Agility is awesome because I can actual hit a damn bandit without being pummeled to death!

However after thirty hours or so of playing vanilla, I'll probable start improving the graphics of the game and the body models.
