I shouldn't comment on Nintendo stuff because I am not their target market, do not have the same rabid loyalty to their IPs that some do, and have not owned a Nintendo system since the N64, which I barely played. Still...

Jesus, what are they thinking? Social networking focus like 7 years late? Unimpressive tablet controls? Lame ports for third-party support that can't last long due to their specs and coming new systems? Speaking of which, the coming new systems will destroy all third-party support. Also the tablet thing is not that impressive to me.

That said, what the fuck do I know. The Wii was a huge success even though I had no interest.

All and All the press conference was not bad but not good
but it's still not obscenely bad as their 2008 conference

What the fuck, Nintendo. This is all they've got for their new console?

This is easily the worst E3 I've ever witnessed. And I think it's fair to assume innovation has now almost completely died out in the mainstream part of the industry, with every major publisher knee-deep into carbon copies of their own casual shit and stabby-shooty horsewank.

it was a big hit cause it worked for parties and kids now it has mainstream games bible belters wont be getting it for their kids

It's expected since sony and MS have had a complete change of direction on their next gen consoles last year which set them back too much to show them this year.

So my opinion of this year
MS: Bad as expected but I bet they are showing their next console behind closed doors..
Sony: Should have focused more on Vita and so get the same rating as MS
Ninty: You should have walked this year wth did you miss so badly! They beat the other 2 but only just.
EA: Meeeeeeeehhhhhh but still better than the console producers
Ubi: OMG WTF? I think they have basically won this year with Watch Dogs and AC3 etc

I haven't watched any of these conferences, but wow so far pretty much everybody I've seen on message boards says the Microsoft and Nintendo conferences were especially horrible. Was slightly looking forward to the wii u, disappointed to hear that the show was totally underwhelming

dude don't sell your soul over watchdog and AC3 and besides if you are planning on playing those games on the PC don't blame me if they include always online drm
also Far Cry 3 interested me

In MS and Sony's case it was justifiable but Ninty what were you thinking you have a new console you should have been wowing ups with 1080p game play and graphics you can't see anywhere else! What did we get? about the same as the Wii but now at 1080p...

Why not? Even the most basic port still looks better, runs better and controls either better or just as well if you plug in a pad.

If you have a gaming PC why would you play them anywhere else?
