CymTyr: Bummer, hopefully people keep saying when they get a code, otherwise I'll stop posting them.
You can start doing that FIRST TO REPLY GITS CODE thing.

EDIT: I'm not going to use my Path to War DLC key, so if anyone wants that and didn't grab CymTyr's one, feel free to shoot me a PM.

I could, but I frequently step away from the pc as well as post codes which stay up for 10 minutes or more at a time. I prefer the honor system, and if people don't like being honest then I'll stop giving away free games ;)

Simple as. That's one ninja, one more time and the game pipe gets shut off.

I have this douchebag nerve tingling in my brain, telling me to ninja the next code and keep silent... augh.

You could do that, but that would mean I would most likely never give free games on GOG again ;)

Whats that game like anyway? - Heard some very mixed reviews - particularly from friends.
(and i mean including what kind of a game it is - rpg, action rpg, linear console type thing)

Haven't played it myself but from what I've gathered its like a Diablo clone...like anything else, some people say its better, some say its nowhere near as good.

I may not like it then - not sure why but diablo always grated on me for some reason. You've cleared it up some for me though! Thanks!

The game is like Diablo 2 only with graphics in some ways superior to Diablo 3 and while being linear, the only differences between it and D2 are these 3: The loot is actually used by the monster who drops it a very good portion of the time, the setting is ancient Greece, Egypt, and Babylon, and the dungeons are non randomized whereas in D2 they are randomized.

D3 actually has more similarities to TQ than it does to D2, for what it's worth, which is a subconscious reason in the minds of many who pirated TQ to have it CTD every 10 minutes and hence, thought the game was bugged. That was a specific design feature in the game and we all used to laugh at the pirates on the TQ board when they would complain the game was shitty.

TQ is a quality game. Iron Lore had some really good ideas, it's a shame they went bankrupt because the pirates launched a nationwide campaign to boycott TQ as it was a "buggy" game - note I can count on one hand how many ctd's I've had in that game, and that was first day launch up through today.

tl;dr - get it, but I recommend getting gold or if you score a vanilla key, getting Immortal Throne - just don't expect to be a powerhouse as melee, this is the game that shifted melee classes being op into turning into ass butter at the first sign of a boss's ray of death, followed shortly thereafter by Dungeon Siege 2's expac, Broken World, copied often afterward.

It plays like diablo 1 or 2, set in Ancient Rome (I think). The story is linear, and the variants of characters is significantly greater than Diablo (there are 8 or so magic paths, and in a few lvls, you gain a second path). Take it for what it is :) As they say, some love it, some hate it. It's pretty standard, but very well made.
