Al1: I don't know how someone is supposed to stay sane in a place like this

Cambrey: Doh ! I didn't know we had to ! And I'm pretty sure that I have read the FAQ a couple times.

Crap! I knew there was something I forgot to add to it!

apexultima: I have the answer!
It's 42!

Are you referring to the post 42 ? ;) Then Peixoto was right. That was one of my guesses too. Before the "Troika" hint, I was secretly hoping for amiga games.

cogadh: I would agree, if it wasn't for the fact that the GOG guys (unlike the Governator) planned on and told us in advance that they were providing us with clues that contain intentional hidden meaning. They planned the wording, layout and timing of these clues with just this kind of puzzle in mind.

Lone3wolf: And gog, being aware of this, go ahead and do it anyway, as a double-bluff? hmmmmm

Now who's reading too much into this? :D

Cambrey: I was secretly hoping for amiga games.

Don't toy with my emotions like that.
avatar
Delixe: Not really. This thread will just evolve into a thread about what GOG SHOULD have released. All the System Shock/Ultima/Troika/EA/Sierra/Blizz fanboys will be complaining they were wrong.
avatar
DrIstvaan: Ooh, you have a point there...

i will zerg rush this thread if we don't get blizz

It''s from a radio series, later books, then TV series, finally a sh*t movie.;D
I know what he meant. ;)

It wasn't THAT bad. Alan Rickman as Marvin certainly helped and the Infinite Improbability Drive sequence was good. It's just impossible to follow up that radio and TV series.

Cryxo: I just had a really wild thought. What if GOG is to be releasing the first ever legal, official console emulator. And if that was the case, I feel that SNES is pretty much unexcelled.
But of course it won't be that for obvious reasons of which I won't mention xD

First, it wouldn't be the first legal official console emulator. SEGA's releases of their old games for PC have all been powered by emulators; they even hired the guy behind Kgen to tweak it for them at one point.
Second, it wouldn't be any Nintendo console. They've always been averse to PC, and they're already making a killing selling ROMs via the Wii Virtual Console.
From what i have read in this thread, one thing is for sure: "Troika Games".
It's EA
Every tuesday we'll get another Tiger Woods game.
Every thursday we'll get another Madden game.
Then at X-mas time the whole bundle for 40% off!!
(kidding)
You are wrong. All of you. On Thursday GOG.com will present their first own game. 'Moherowe Berety' or 'Zibeline Hats' made on Dawn of War engine. And it's going to be a true classic. A modern story of chapter of elderly polish catholic fanatics, fighting to spread the word of their eternal god Father Rydzyk, sitting on the golden throne in his fortress in the city of Torun, Poland.
Moherowe Berety will fight against every one, who stands against their vision of the Empire of Poland. Game will include missions against: Zerg Swarm, European Union, Shivans, Muslims, Klingon Empire, homosexuals, Kilrathi, Platforma Obywatelska, Rebel Scum and Imperial Fleet, liberals, orcs and US of A.
Because in the world of 'Moherowe Berety' there is only war.
GOG.com will distribute the game for free. If you are not going to play it, consider yourself as an enemy of Moherowe Berety. And if you afraid to play the game remember... Cowards die in shame ;-)
Whatever the surprise, I'm sure it will be fantastic !
GOG rocks !!
wouldnt they pull ultima from abadonia if they were releasing it here? like they did with realms of arkania?
tbh, i would like to see starcraft here but thats the only blizz game im really interested in. EA has alpha centauri and dungeon keeper 2 which im quite interested in.

Sure it had it's moments.. So did that Will Smith Does Drunk Superhero. But moments don't make a movie for me. ;) H2G2 is just now a good concept movie i guess.;)
