TheCheese33: Yep, that's part of the overlay. Usually that will be the windows you click to cycle through the current featured games, like Steam has on their store page.

So it's just a bad job made by whoever replaced the picture, right?

I wonder if there will be a new release tomorrow (a regular one) or if they spare their releases for Thursday...

About Troika, Ive already wrenched out of them in a prior posting about 4 months back that they "WERE INDEED" looking to secure them as a publishing company and there games. Troika has come up far to often in this investigation and by GOG staffers as an absolute goal they have had and "WERE" currently working on/twords.
My vote and goal is TROIKA... past information mixed with the logic of the HIVE MIND leads me to this....
Or I'm wrong and all the Microsoft hinting is true or its someone affiliated to them :P

Has the game been mentioned as such on the forums in previous pages?

It would not surprise me at all if there was no Tuesday release even if there was one planned. All the GOG staffers are having too much fun here and pretty much know everyone will be saving their money for this huge announcement. If there is a game launched tomorrow the huge announcement will be GOG leaving Beta ;)

We haven't been given an official clue on the forums as far as I'm aware. Mike did mention "Master Chief Designer" but I think that was a red herring.
The Twitter clue was posted five hours ago. The Facebook clue was posted an hour ago. So can we expect another clue on the forums? In three hours, perhaps?

MacReiter: Y'know, that could actually be pretty cool. Custom WinVICE (or other appropriate emulator) configs with fastloaded game images... I don't see it as "the biggest announcement ever for GOG", but it could be fun anyway.

If only i didn't have a nice GameBase already.;]

joejava: actually ultima 6 wasn't too bad on the SNES.. now ultima 7....

I was made aware of the SNES U6 recently [in this very thread], and i was so horrified, i didn't even look further. Good to know, that more horror lay ahead. ;D

Don't forget that EA owns the Bullfrog (Populous!), Origin (Ultima!), Maxis (SimCity!), and Westwood (Dune II!) catalogs, in addition to the many great games they've made in-house.

People seem hell bent on linking Karmic Awareness with Ultima. My first thought on reading those words (before the TROIKA thing was pointed out) was Black & White, which would point to EA (some people mentioned it in connection with MS for some reason, but as far as I can tell it was published by EA).
The time clue made me think of Timeshift, which means Sierra, which in turn means ActiBlizz.
Man, thursday is a long way away...

Troika is indeed part of this puzzle but it can't actually be the whole answer, seeing as it was a developer and not a publisher, and it is defunct now anyway and all of it's ip is owned by other publishers. Thus, if it is hinting that we will see Troika games at GOG, then we will be seeing them from a publisher and probably other games as well. It also means that it is nigh impossible that we could see all of their games here, unless cheese is right and we are getting multiple pubs.
EDIT: is anyone else getting rep like mad today? i've gotten three or four points today for no reason, no high-rated posts or answering questions.

They have yet to ever go with Multiples.... I believe this is what we may see.
Also from the GOG staffer post with in this forum string the correct guess has been hit at-least partially.
