Any reason for the double "EX"?

joejava: Any reason for the double "EX"?

I call conspiracy!

Cryxo: I wouldn't have that thought that any game was "unexcelled". Especially EA games.

EA had some good games back in the day. Command and Conquer was and still is pretty huge. Medal of Honor used to be good - Allied Assault was awesome. They also had the Sim series (Sims, SimCity, etc.) and tons of other games they've picked up over the years, like Clive Barker's Undying or Dongeon Keeper.
Even the most stringent anti-Games industry fellow has to admit EA has a damn good backlog.
"The return of incredible carmic awareness" ?
That's Planescape:Torment.

I remember MOH being a real childhood lovely jovely thingy. Good times.
Another dissapointing idea:
Remember, many, many pages ago, when there was a short 'discussion' [i believe that sunk pretty fast] about multiplatform support? History overlaps the present, is kinda like emulation. So, em, You get Your, let's say Ultima 6, and You get the Apple, C64, C128, Amiga.. and the horrid SNES version. ;)
I guess it's getting late and my necrogaming sense is tingling, and common sense is fast asleep. ;D

Did anyone else notice that the bottom-right of the countdown banner is clickable?
Is it Limbo of the Lost?
I want it to be Limbo of the Lost.

Yep, that's part of the overlay. Usually that will be the windows you click to cycle through the current featured games, like Steam has on their store page.
Facebook Clue: Where history overlaps with the present time.
Twitter Clue: The return of incredible karmic awareness.
Forum Clue: No Idea after skimming all posts, it seems we've already guessed it, master chef and microsoft puns all over the place ive seen.
Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. Made by Troika. and T.R.O.I.K.A. seem to be the consensus [t]he [r]eturn [o]f [i]ncredible [k]armic [a]wareness
About Troika, Ive already wrenched out of them in a prior posting about 4 months back that they "WERE INDEED" looking to secure them as a publishing company and there games. Troika has come up far to often in this investigation and by GOG staffers as an absolute goal they have had and "WERE" currently working on/twords.
My vote and goal is TROIKA... past information mixed with the logic of the HIVE MIND leads me to this....
Or I'm wrong and all the Microsoft hinting is true or its someone affiliated to them :P
Or I'm wrong and all the Looking Glass Studios hinting is true or its someone affiliated to them :P

Y'know, that could actually be pretty cool. Custom WinVICE (or other appropriate emulator) configs with fastloaded game images... I don't see it as "the biggest announcement ever for GOG", but it could be fun anyway.

actually ultima 6 wasn't too bad on the SNES.. now ultima 7....
I just had a really wild thought. What if GOG is to be releasing the first ever legal, official console emulator. And if that was the case, I feel that SNES is pretty much unexcelled.
But of course it won't be that for obvious reasons of which I won't mention xD

You know what? That brings several developers and publishers together in a different way, as in "THESE MOTHER FUCKERS STOLE OUR GAME ASSETS!"
