Is it too much to dream of Grim Fandango, Full Throtle and Day Of The Tentacle ?
Unexcelled, Unsurpassed, giving an air of finality to it
I think it's just some kind of fantasy, that perhaps Eidos might be coming, hinting at Deus Ex, Thief, and Final Fantasy.
Full Windows 7 compatibility?

Cedr: Full Windows 7 compatibility?

Cambrey: My crystal ball is telling me "GoG forum beta 2.0".
I'm wondering what that means.

It means either that it's Forum beta 2.0 coming, or that your crystal ball is defective. :-D (Be sure to have the receipt at hand, just in case...)
EA? For such a count down, EA is the only big announcement I can imagine that comes with a big injection of Good Old Games for sale.
Theme Hospital?
Theme Park?
Syndicate Wars?
Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri?
Dungeon Keeper?
Populous?
C&C?
Desert Strike (and sequels)
Sim City 2000
Sim stuff
Ultima Collection
And much more!!
Can another single publisher match the quantity of good of old games?
Awesome, I'll be able to buy System Shock FINALLY in about a week! This is great!

If they got Deus Ex, that means a possibility for Eidos games, including Hitman and Thief. Unlikely, but fun to think of.

Funny, I've got two, and they're stuck on "mauve" and "2.4 ± 0.6 × 1012 M☉", respectively.

Let's just use our magic 8-balls instead!
Lemme guess, we can unlock Witcher : The Legend of White Wolf second teaser trailer for consoles by doing someting silly! :P now that would be unexpected wouldn't it?
But seriously:
Finally GOG manages to sign a deal with major publisher.
Website 2.0 upgrade finally done.
GOG leaves beta stage
Now what else could it be...

Vagabond: It's a new publisher.

That. And a big one, perhaps the biggest publisher of Good Old Games back when they were released.
So I'd say it has to be EA, maybe even including Lucasarts games. I can't think of anything bigger than that. And if it is EA, it will include all the Origin and Microprose games - lots and lots and lots of FANTASTIC old games.
One man can hope, can't he?
Hyping up a game that is already on most of the DD services would be incredibly lame.
This rules out Deus Ex and X-Com, so I am quite sure it is either a major publisher deal (Microprose is my best guess) or something completely unrelated to the games' catalog.
