Nearly 2K! Just a few more to go.

Yeah. 2000+, here we go. :)
EDIT: beaten by Navagon.
Don't know if it's possible for them to release numbers. But a top 10 chart, or top by genres would be nice.

Congrats on getting Activision GOG, just bought both when I saw the games. Come on Quest for Glory and perharps old "Impression Games" Games? I have never seen those game on any digital distribution yet :D
1998!
1999, so that someone can shout 2K ;-).
Haha!
EDIT:
Meaningful progression of the discussion, don't you think?

Nah, I'll leave the guess work to you guys. It's quite interesting reading everything you come up with, though I thought it was pretty much set when I read the cosmic awareness stuff.
Aw, 2001 already used.
Guess I'll have to wait for the number of that '2nd but not from Kubrick movie' and the current year.

I was thinking about spelling that clue out in the OP. But that would have cut back on the amount of guessing going on. Can't have that now, can we? :P

I might revive this thread for the March announcement. People seem to be quite happy to keep posting in the same damn thread here. Something which wouldn't work on other sites and/or is frowned on.

I was half expecting a topic titled "The Countdown Has Stopped." by now.

I've already created a thread about the March Announcement, if that counts.

DrWevil: well im not sure how they fair on this but I'd be pretty interested to hear the sales figures for these to games in a weeks time. It does appear that arcanum may be an instabuy for quite a few on here and I just wonder about the numbers. I'd imagine one of the quickest and due to the hype, biggest sellers maybe...

Instabuy is right, got mine at 12:05 :)
On page 78 I posted this:
It's Activision->Sierra->Troika!
The hints pointed out different games and TROIKA.
- Arcanum will be the first or among the first released...
- ...along with some adventure games, most likely the first Gabriel Knight ?
- Homeworld could also be an early release.

:D ....is there a prize for guessing correctly (I know Arcanum was easy but I guessed Gabriel Knight correctly as well ;)
I'd like to see a breakdown of the intended solution to the clues; not least to find out if my extremely cryptic interpretation of one is actually correct!
