Ok think about this though, I know we kind of overprepared ourselves, but this is really, really huge for GOG. One of the three biggest catalogues of old, AAA games out there.

That list is also incomplete. Phantasmagoria for example which would be perfect as a GOG.
I can't wait for all the Quest games!, I haven't played most of them for 10 or more years.

Uh...the Cyan games just appeared. To me, that was a heckuva lot bigger announcement than Vampire: The Masquerade wotsit and Arcanum...
Do they perhaps intend to eventually add all the old catalog? THAT would be more impressive.
And has anyone figured out how those two games fit into the clues? Or were there just clues for each, rather than all clues being applicable to both?
I meant Gabriel Knight. Not sure what I'm rambling on about. Sorry.

Cook: No worries Namur, it was part of the plan :)
avatar
Namur: Ah, ok then ;)
Congratulations, this is awesome.

What, what the fuck? Explain! If they said it's "all part of the plan", what is the answer? WHAT?
avatar
Wolfox: Thanks for the hint... maybe EA will also show up tomorrow? ;-)

Like I said getting Activision onboard is massive for GOG. If anything now that both Activision and Ubisoft are here it will only be a matter of time before companies like EA, Take Two and THQ follow. The most important thing about getting Activision is it shows GOG is serious and it's here to stay which is probably why they called it the most important announcement in GOG's history.

It's impossible for me to see the word "Phantasmagoria" without hearing Spoony's voice in my head.

PhoenixWright: But what is the point of the countdown if the information was to be revealed before its end? I guess it really is just a representation of when the games go on sale.

I guess somebody at CNet broke the embargo?

Yeah, but it's a bit easyer when you already know what words to look for, right ? ;)
