joshjosh667: Yeah... well, hi not sure if anyone has said this before... BUT, i can think of one thing it could mean. And that's the site finally coming out of BETA... has no one else noticed that its gog.com BETA. Well anyway, they might have new games too.
Another nice think would be full Windows 7 support, I know they have been working on it.
OR maybe they'll add the new site and full Win7 support.. even better.

The beta thing has been mentioned (a few times), but I'd have to say that is pretty low on the likelihood scale. This is the age of Web 2.0™ (or are we up to 3.0 now?), where everything is in beta well past its public release. The "beta" categorization has almost become meaningless, or at least doesn't mean what it used to anymore when it comes to websites and online services. Besides, the end of the beta doesn't seem to warrant something like a countdown, more like a simple Twitter post and a minor change to the logo.
I think that going out of the beta is kinda a requirement to accommodate the major publishers here, I said above. Perhaps not a "requirement", but the site update is needed.

MrDOS: You know, I just thought of Microsoft. As unlikely as it sounds, they did publish some awesome old games - Age of Empires and AoE II come to mind, as do Monster Truck Madness 2, Midtown Madness 2, and Motocross Madness 2.

BoxOfSnoo: And Rise of Nations, and the Mechwarrior series might be nice too.

There's also an ancient, ultra crap Formula 1 game that I've used to play.
But I expect even lucasarts before microsoft here, hard thing to happen.

Following the success of many MMOG's, at the end of the beta all accounts will be wiped and everyone will be able to start anew!

Isn't all Google stuff always in Beta?

But google, is google.
They're going to sell Excel gum in the merchandise store!

Nah, the search engine and e-mail service have both left (official) beta status, I think docs is out of beta as well.
When I mentioned "beta 2.0" I was being sarcastic. Even though it would make me laugh, I hope they didn't set a big countdown for such a trivial announcement. :)

Delixe: I'm surprised no one mentioned the original Halo.

You mean the original Halo as Bungie designed it or original Halo as Microsoft butchered it. The released Halo was crap and PC version even worse. Do not want.

Hmm... Bungie... Oni... Want!

Mmm... Oni... Forgot to vote that here. But now I have. :)
But as for the topic, I don't want to even start guessing. More fun to have surprise next week. Besides I got so many games I'd want that pretty much any any big publisher will bring more jewels to my GOG shelf.
Put me down for either EA or Lucasarts. Won't be Activision/Blizzard as Battle.net is being made into their own personal digital delivery platform.

If you liked Oni (which I did too), I'd highly recommend Mirror's Edge.
it would be cool if it was some of Rockstar's back catalogue (as in when they we're known as DMA Design)
