just one thing, I don't know why we must assume that it SHOULDN'T be so easy. it's not like it's a contest or anything like that. with that said, in my absolutely CORRECT OPINION, I'm SURE it's EA.

I must be honest and say I loved Ultima IX despite its bugs. The music was brilliant (later used in Ultima Online) and the atmosphere was strong as well. I had to cheat to get passed a few of the bugs (like items floating high above the altars) but I managed to complete it and had a great time doing so. WIthout bugs, this easily rivalled Gothic and other similar games of its time.
