Planeforger: Actually...hm, a complimentary pair travelling through time and space with karmic awareness certainly sounds like the description of Sam and Max: Season 3, which is due sometime this year.
It probably isn't that, but yeah.

Good Old Games. Not 'Yet To Be Released Games That Will Probably Be Good'. Anyway, Telltale already have a store front.
Btw, just found this on Wikipedia:
"A general meaning of the Russian word troika (Cyrillic alphabet: тройка) is three of a kind, a collection of three. It may also mean:
* Troika (driving), a sled or carriage drawn by three horses harnessed side-by-side
* Troika (dance), a folk dance
* Troika (triumvirate) of judges or political leaders"
So the first hint may not necessarily refers to Troika the developer, but a trilogy of games or a game that was part of a trilogy.

Catshade: I don't know why, but I keep thinking about Sam & Max... :P

That was my thought too with that clue.
I've been thinking it was LucasArts, Sierra (A/B) and Eidos at some point during the last couple of days.
I'm still hoping but not expecting it's EA.
At the moment I consider LucasArts and Eidos to be the most likely candidates.
Sam and Max can hint to both LucasArts (old) and Atari (new).
That is if characters refer to game characters.
They've chose the phrase 'complement eachother beautifully', not 'complement eachother perfectly.
That choice of words might be part of the clue.
Either that or it's me confusing things due to English not being my main language.

Another interpretation of that 'troika' part: A publisher that's made up of three 'entities'...Eidos-Square-Enix. Farfetched, I know... :P

It would be kind of cruel to describe Squee as a troika then say "LOL, no Troika for you". Plus, why would Squee be 'OMG best thing ever'?

or English not being Gog's first language...or both... O_o
I gotta admit, this latest "clue" makes me think it;s more just a game, rather than a publisher....whether it's a new publisher coming to gog as well, I don't know.
why would Squee be 'OMG best thing ever'?

Personally I don't think that Troika Games would also be 'OMG best thing ever' :) and a purpose to set the timer on :)
It must be something bigger.

seriously what kind of clue is that? Lunch time isn't for another 7 hours for me, Now you're just being stupid, gog team,

Your deli sandwich will have a piece of paper in it. So don't swallow that.

Hmm, trilogy of games? It could be Eye of the Beholder (I hope!), developed by Westwood. Who own rights to Westwood now? EA?

That depends on how many posts you see per page... I see 22 pages at 50 posts per page, so I'll guess you have it set to 20.
