I barely noticed a bug after the 1.2 official patch, for a while I wondered what the hell the community patches could do other than fix the occasional typo or misfiring trigger.
1.2 was the last official patch so I assume that the hypothetical GOG version would release with that
Now to bring the thread back to rampant ill informed speculation: OMFG! EA/ActiBlizz/Lucasarts megapack! Every game they ever released!

Only problem is it's 6 terabytes and you have to wait for the whole thing to download...

Maybe your rep magically goes up if the automatic post parser detects that you offer to eat socks? Though my rep went up several points as well yesterday, but that might as well be because I was bored (or actually, distracted, I was *supposed* to be finishing a Java assignment) as hell yesterday and kept posting..

Planescape Torment or System Shock 2 is all I was really hoping for when this began, but I have lost faith in that now.

for some reason, I have no idea why but Anachronox keeps flashing through my mind...
Could anybody find a reason why my subconscious keeps pointing me towards anachronox???

it feels like its not going to be a 1 game release, but a bunch of games, probably from same title.
so which big company has numerous games that match the 2 new hints?

although the connection you made seems slim, Eidos do sounds like a good option- can anybody find some Eidos games that match the hints?

Perhaps because of its similarity to the word anachronism which fits one of the clues?

I'm not familiair with most of Eidos' titles, but the time related clue might refer to 'TimeSplitters'.
Btw Deus Ex is an Eidos game :)
