Erm ... what exactly is so special about him? There are always people to whom money doesn't mean all that much, and he's not even close to the "serious" players of the Steam meta-game. His Steam level is less than 100, he has less than 150 games and only 300 cards. There are lots of such people on Steam, and they are randomly distributed across the five teams.

First time I see you posting after a long break, and it's the same old pointless drama again ...

People get randomly assigned to one of five teams. People can contribute points to their team by buying games or trading in full card sets ("crafting badges"). Each day at 10:00 am PST the team with the most points wins, some rewards are distributed among a few randomly determined team members, and the score gets reset for the next day.

I don't think it's worthwhile getting into a fuss over it. The best thing you can do is to contribute at least one point per day (to make sure that you are eligible for prizes) and to make sure that you have at least three games in your wishlist (in case you are extremely lucky and get picked as a winner; prizes are picked from the winners' wishlists).

You can buy cards in bulk from the market now, so it's a lot easier to get as many as you can afford. It certainly is a waste of money, but they have money to waste so that's their choice.

Thank you. I understand a bit better now. I still think I lack seeing the point. Is this just in hopes of being on the winning team and getting 3 games by some rare chance in hell. To me it seems like a lot of BS and money spending on nothing for .. nothing.

Plus it was a card every 3 votes yesterday as long as you were level 5 now its level 8 not that that matters for me. I found out I was level 3 and Im ok with that. lol

I'm also in Team Pink, but I'm level 7 and you have to be at least level 8 to get the cards.
They fucked me the same way on previous occasion when I was level 6 and they demanded level 7. XD

I know someone who plays like 200 hours a week of Payday 2, people do crazy things.
Some people even buy a shit ton of GOG games and never play them.
