Which one is your favourite? Games, movies, books etc.
Since this is a gaming site i'd definitely pick Gabriel Knight: The beast within as an example of one of the coolest artworks i've ever seen.

One of my all time favorite game covers is the cover from WING COMMANDER 3. It's just so awesome.

Some of my favorites - Effective design and use of color.

Alice and Bioshock were always disconcerting. SpellForce covers for consistent themes and just plain old beautiful artwork. Stranger for the dangerous cartoon look. Elven Legacy for most realistic. Don't see many photos used for game covers. Model, outfit, bow, ears brought the Elven Warrior Princess to life.

Your picks win the thread by a mile. As much as I might like some games "better", their covers certainly are not better by any stretch of artistic measurement.
