I'm getting the "The connection was reset" message a lot with GOG, and only GOG, recently. I often have to retry twice to get to a page.
Is it only me having this problem?
The only unusual thing about my system is that I use a VPN.
My browser is Firefox 18.0.1

I'm not having that issue. Using FF 11 here though.
I also use FF, same version as you do, and I don't experience this. Maybe it's from one of your add-ons ?
same problem, same FF version. I figured it was my mobile broadband

My only add-on is Ad-Block Plus.
