Lately, I seem to see a lot more new users here. And they seem to keep hanging around. Meaning I see quite a few posts by both 1 rep users and 2-50 rep users. I wish we could know just how many of us there are. At any rate, it seems like GOG is doing well. Yay!
More games attract more people. That's a good thing.
I wonder how well gog is doing... how many users, what's an average spend per user per month?
stuff like that.
Well, good. More players means more revenue, which means (hopefully) a larger selection of games and better tech support. Yay GOG!
System Shock 2 then? Lol.
This place is a brilliant idea. I've only picked up on game so far (Empire Earth), but just looking at the list of available games, I can see myself picking up Arx Fatalis, Disciples 2, the Fallouts, Gothic 2, Lionheart, and Spellforce before it's all said and done.
GoG is a haven for most of the games I always said I wanted, but never got around to purchasing (or couldn't locate once I'd learned about them).

Make sure you pick up all the freebies too!
Glad to see you aboard!

So ... just under 50.000 unique users? Not too bad. I wonder what made Steam soar from 300k to over 400k in less than a year. But considering Steam, which is what, 6-7 years old, had 300k users a year ago and GoG has 50k after a year, it's not looking bad at all.

No, it's quite good, you just have to toss up a comparison on that site so I picked a competitor and what was a personal favorite.
hmm, gog has a respectable page rank too. 5/10

I grabbed that when it was most recently on sale, but haven't yet dug into it.
