I don't drink coffee (shocking? many around me seem to think so), and I don't see a good enough reason to start... which conflicts with a slight interest in experimenting with cold-brew coffee (which I found out about when reading Cory Doctorow's Homeland).

(To which the reply around here is usually something akin to "...tea? Umm... wait, perhaps... there may be a tea bag around (that's been in the cupboard since the late 70's or early 80's), I've no idea what kind it is, would that suffice?")

That coffee method looks fascinating! And anyone that names their child, Poesy Emmeline Fibonacci Nautilus Taylor Doctorow, has got to be an absolute hilarious author - not sure why that seems so to me but it does ;-p

Ever since I started work at my new employer in January, every mention of coffee reminds of how grateful I am that they invested ~200.000€ in kick-ass coffee machines. Bless them.

I wish my previous employer had done the same :P The coffee they served in the 'tea-room' twice a day had the distinct aftertaste of dusty rhino skin =| Not that I ever had the, uhm, privilege but I'm sure that if licking a rhino's skin left you with an aftertaste, it would coincide with the aftertaste of that coffee. McDonalds coffee isn't much better either :P

so you just left the beans out to oxidise, but didn't want to open the new bag and got used to it in the end? btw: it doesn't quite work that way "exactly" with women...


now cold brew really does help those of us who have a delicate system when it comes to coffee.
