Big Fish have both raised their prices and lowered them at the same time >_>.
Basically, non-members will now be charged $9.99 per standard game and $19.99 per Collector's Edition.
Members, will still pay $6.99 per standard game and $2.99 per daily/weekly deal. However, members now only pay $13.99 per Collector's Edition (still worth 3 punches towards a free game though).
Not a bad move. And hopefully, it'll stop a certain annoying "games journalist" on a certain casual gaming site from constantly whining about Big Fish's pricing and how it's supposedly destroying casual gaming.
My girl used to buy casual games by the truckload and I would leech off of her when I was in the mood for one, but ever since she got a smartphone she's been buying them on there and I ain't touching that thing :(
Thinking of getting Zuma's Revenge for my damn self.

I gifted that to my sister when it first came out. She's played that game for over 260 hours. I kid you not.

Maybe it's for the best I leave it alone then, lol.

I see this thread has been abandoned for some while, but I think bringing it up can't hurt.
I'd like to garner some attention to Alawar Games. Although they aren't such a big player as Big Fish or PopCap, which is reflected on their titles (they don't have those "casual AAA" games), they have a really nice selection of various games, and, in contrast to those two, most of them cost $6.99, VAT included.
Additionally, every week, beginning with Tuesday, they offer 3 games for $1.99 apiece. This week's specials are Mah Jong Quest 3 (which I recommend to anyone who's into Mahjong games, it offers incredible value for your money), Cooking Academy 2, and Sky Taxi.
Holy crap, how come I've never seen this thread? Favourited now - I wish I had known it when I was looking for a time-killer for my wife (after she beat all levels of the brilliant Blocksum game).
Alawar's three price-cut games of the week are Treasures of Montezuma 2, Magic Encyclopaedia - Moon Light and SnapShot Adventures - Secret of Bird Island.
Sandlot's free game of the week is Cake Mania.
If there's anyone here who's played/knows both Tradewinds Classic and Tradewinds 2, can you tell me if there's point in downloading Classic (it's free on Sandlot this week) if I already have TW2?

I can recommend Burger Shop 1 and 2 to anyone who likes time management games. The two bundled can be bought for $13 from the developers' website. Both are really fun games, and even if you've played through their story mode, there's so much more to do.
I've bought the bundle and am quite pleased with my purchase.
(Of course, you can also try their 1-hour trials to see for yourself if you like the game or not.)
