This giveaway is rather like a TBS. List the games you want, see which ones no one else is interested in, enter for those.
The code drops are more like a 'twitch' game, he who clicks fastest wins. When you're in twitch mode very little thought goes into long term stuff. I can understand why both are popular and why both will always exist.
This is a fantastic thing you are doing here but you will never change the entire membership with it.
I will try to keep my 'nose clean' because I like this format MUCH better.

Absolutely worth it! I've been 'tilting at windmills' all my life, and sometimes it even works.
Being pretty much a 'hippie rebel' for the last 40+ years I was getting a little pissed at the 'militant' way this was being run.
After my code drop grab without any forethought the other day I started thinking about it though. I laud your efforts and will do my best to help the cause.
I just wanted to share my thoughts after I grabbed that code, I have to admit I felt a sense of accomplishment in being first for a change.
At my slow old age that is rather rare. ;)

I have to say, this particular recurring giveaway is much better than the old "ninja" giveaway thread, which was fine for a long period, but descended into hateful comments, game-code scamming, etc.

A bit of "militancy" can sometimes be a good thing :-)
