Rohan15: Yes.
What did you like most about it? One of my favorite things was the old crone segments....feeding the birds, diving your past/present/etc, along with what you find out about her later on. Also the crazy book seller.

By far one of the greatest intros ever for a PC game. An awesome real-time strategy game too. They don't make them like this anymore!

Boom! Bang! Heads exploding left and right!

"You bug-eyed Aghhhhhh!"

Bang! Bang! Alien head brains all over the place, in slow motion!
Age of Empires 2 intro:

Worms 2
Ys 2 Eternal, or whatever the heck it's called. It probably looks like an assortment of random imagery, but it actually makes sense if you're familiar with Ys 1 and 2.

Thunderscape - GOG. Hurry up and get this game.

Vagrant Story - I didn't actually like this game very much, but I always did like the intro.
I can top those easy with these three:

No one mentioned this:

Indigo Prophecy started amazingly. Then went a bit downhill, but still worth it! :D

Fallout 2 intro - Great, ultra sharp juxtaposition of the series' sense of humour and the harsh, brutal reality of the setting.

Half-Life 2 - 'So, wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and, smell the ashes.' Creepy. Sharp. Abrupt. It can't help but put you back in the character.

Mafia intro - The slow opening puts me in mind of a film. Given the way the game plays out, it is very appropriate.

EDIT: Bonus intro:

Wizardry 8 - Kind of simple, but just felt right for the series.

Skies of Arcadia, makes me feel like i'm truly soaring the skies like an air pirate!
The cheap costumes, the 'great' actors, the awesome cutscenes of....
No, not Red Alert
