Lebostein: Over 1 month in "coming soon" status. A new record on GOG.com?
Wasn't the "coming soon" page put up 2 weeks ago? It sure wasn't there on the 14th (several of us complained about the lack of an official announcement from GOG that day)
They FINALLY decided to release the drm free copy.

VERY low key

NOTHING on Facebook. NO Updates. One line on Twitter which links to the game page on GreenManGaming advertising the game for sale (FFS what was the point of this???)

"Stoic @StoicStudio · Feb 1

ONE guy on KS left notice saying to visit Stoic's website, click on Kickstarters at the top (you need to be logged in already). Small link says Download Now. Click. Follow instructions.
Thats it. NO announcement to make people aware it was available.

Its a 2.4 GB download.

There is a GMG version but still no GOG version ? It's still tragicomic :)

So... DRM-free version is out and you guys are still complaining? Wow.

Look at Greenmangaming:
"Third party DRM: Steam"
That´s not DRM-free, is it? ;)
http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/de/en/pc/games/rpgs/banner-saga/#item-s2

Anyways, I´ll only buy it via GOG or won´t buy it at all, I´ve got a huge backlog of TB-RPG so I can wait easily!

No it isn't. But since you're not a backer who put money down for a DRM-free version, you're not eligible to demand it anyway. :)

I'm rather sure it will appear soon, but first it needs to go through to the different sites. So GOG needs to get the files from Stoic, slap the installer on it and test it - that's not happening within a few hours on a Sunday.
Also it's likely been put out as low key as it is, because Stoic don't want to crash their server immediately with 2,33 GB downloads - again, I would expect an official announcement / news rather soon now.
Hurray, I might finally be able to play the game I backed. Thanks for the info peoples.

Downloading now, 3 hours left (I have a relatively slow connection).

Fingers crossed that the connection doesn't die out while it's downloading.

I find it funny and weird they put 'drm free' link to GMG of all places... and to the Steam version....

Im curious. Did you buy or back this game?.

Not yet. Which doesn't change the fact that the DRM-free version is out and you are still complaining. Even if I did back the game, I would be perfectly happy with a Steam copy, but complaining after Stoic did what you wanted them to do is just...

Seriously, first you're complaining that there's no DRM-free version and now that it's not advertised enough. Has it ever occured to you that, perhaps, they want to do an announcement later on, when it comes out on GOG?

Arrgh, I don't like buying from GMG because of my bank. Hopefully it'll come on GOG sooner rather than later.

Dude. You have zero idea how it feels as a backer waiting for the drm free version.
The complaints were about how freaking long it took them (when it should never have been the case).

I bought it and I share the same sentiment as Fenixp. Is that relevant somehow?

Personally it baffles me how people who back kickstarters can incessantly complain about waiting a few weeks longer for the game when it was sometimes years away when they initially backed it.
