amok: so do you say that gog do not know what games do release when they do the "surprise release" releases that they do? (which is almost all of them, gog have very few pre-orders.... and all the 'confirmed' releases are usually through other sources, such as the developers or Kickstart pages, not from gog. Like that forum thread. It is strange that the community seems to know better gog's release schedule than gog does)
I only want to know if they release particular game or not... Is it so difficult to announce "Yes we will release it here, but there are some issues we have to resolve first..." which pretty much says "DO NOT BUY IT ELSEWHERE" to me?
IMHO keeping such great NEW INDIE GAME releases in secret and uncertainty helps, but not to GOG as I am going to buy it elsewhere... They could have my money, but it looks like they do not care to much...
Let's look from the other side: I will wait for release, as there are some rumors... Then they will not come into agreement for whatever reason... And how I will know that I should not wait any longer, if I want to play that game?
Of course for old games like Bloodnet today, I have no problem with that "surprise" kind of release...
