Pheace: Game time! Woohooo!

ne_zavarj: Have fun .
Thanks, started the same as Factions but diverged soon after :)
Oh man the wait! It hurts! :)

Hopefully it's coming on Thursday.
Must... Post.... Game....
I see there is Deluxe version on Steam with full great soundtrack included...
(listen here: http://austinwintory.bandcamp.com/album/the-banner-saga )

I hope we will see it here on GOG! And on Thursday, of course :D
Oh my, this waiting is killing me now more than before...

You've got a sale here GOG, whenever it arrives. Hopefully the version we get will be the solid one with all the extras.

I think it's only include an album . I don't think it's inlude pre-order bonus :S
Anyone playing and figured out how to save yet? I dunno if maybe I'm to early in the game to have the option?

I'm getting the impression it's iron man style, it saves as you go along :)

I truly believe GOG still knows how complete game looks like :D

Yea I wasn't sure if quitting would save the game but I just tried it and it did. Ironman style is more then fine for a game like this. Just didn't want to have to hit checkpoints.

RadonGOG: I´m a bit surprised that Banner Saga wasn´t released on GOG today...

G-Doc: Now, that's a sentiment we can relate to. :-) Apparently DRM-Free is like slow food--sometimes you need to wait a little bit longer for the good stuff.

The Banner Saga is coming to GOG.com, although with a slight delay. We'll do our best to keep you guys informed.
I was just surprised as I haven´t followed the Banner Saga updates for quite long time.
And for nobody who wants to do DRM-free gaming waiting should be an unknow felling---I´m still waiting for SquareEnix releasing HumanRevolution here, as well as I´m still waiting for the formaly DTP-games to arrive here---but anyways:
I´m glad that there isn´t only a chance that we´ll get Banner Saga---if you are confident that we´ll get it in less then a year, than that´s every information I need concerning this game ;)

Highly doubt it for two reasons:
1. Austin Wintory retained the rights to his music and is selling the album on Bandcamp.
2. A Deluxe version elsewhere or at least on Steam means that devs/ pubs price and sell everything separately, so you can be sure GOG will offer the base version in order to keep the price at the lowest possible level.

It's quite rare these days that newer games come with nice and worthy extras.

cyboff: Unfortunately, it looks like yes! Having over 65 million gamers onboard also adds "some" priority value...

Coelocanth: This. It's a business after all, and even though I'm a bit miffed that they don't have it up on GOG as well, they really are wise to go where the money and the captive audience is first if they have to choose between them.
thing is they didn't have to. they had 7x kickstarted goal.they extended the delivery timeframe due to this, so they had plenty of time do everything promised at launch and that means treating both existing backers and potential customers equally and fairly. to me they are deliberately treating DRM free customers as second class. Gog, desura gamers gate have potentially lost customers of this game due to being unable to offer pre orders and while yes they have potentially a bigger audience on steam it feels unright and unfair for them to do it this way

Completely Agreed :)
Loving the style of it so far. I'm having trouble keeping my units uninjured though but I'm hoping to improve over time :D
