Foxhack: I don't use it to catalog my games, that would be crazy and I'd never finish.

I use it to write down the games I've actually completed. Which is nice. I also add the date I beat the game in, just for the hell of it.
That's interesting, I do the opposite. I use to to keep track only of the games I haven't finished. Obviously when I finish them I don't delete them, but I haven't gone back and added all the games I've finished ever because that would be crazy.

Touche. ;p

It was actually a commentary on how bad I am about buying games and how I never play them for one reason or another. I have way too many games.

Haha, me too but I've gotten into adding them when I buy them... partially so I don't forget I've got them... >.>

After the JoWood sale, I realised that I hadn't added all my purchases from the christmas sale. *BOOM* and my backlog grew by 20-30 games. Just when I thought I was starting to make progress. :(
If I were to try to list all the games I need to play and complete, it would probably take me a week to write the list, and probably about 2 years worth of time to complete it.
lol . . . as I've said before "What backlog"??

Last year, my Backlog ground to a halt, and then I started only listing games I'd completed with steam sales and such.... my backloggery is missing about 100 games... and I hadn't put all my ps2 games on their to begin with.

Amazing

This is my gaming life in a nutshell

Loads of new "platforms" added, including Good Old Games!
I tried using the backloggery but found it didn't help me getting to play those games I never play.

I keep buying them though. I need some sort of support group for this shit.

"Hi, I'm stonebro and I buy tons of video games, then fail to play them!"
"Hi stonebro!"

Oh wait. This is the support group.

Up until the site remake, I used Tor's Backloggery greasemonkey script. This allowed you to set the shop by adding tags into the notes. It meant that the games still appeared in the correct "platforn" and I could add multiple shops for things that I owned the most places. I think the game I own the most is Braid. I have it on D2D, the HIB, Steam and Desura.

Anyway, Tor's rewriting his script for the new version of the site so I'll just use that when he finishes it.
