The return of (old) PC graphic adventures (English)
Il ritorno delle (vecchie) avventure grafiche per PC (Italian)
Considering that GOG uses ScummVM for its adventurous needs, well, it would be very nice to see, some day, this title too in the catalogue :-p
I saw it a million times at my local used pc software store and never picked it up. Any good?

Good atmosphere and wicked hard puzzles plus the graphics weren't too bad at the time. I don't know how well the game has aged because I haven't seen it in a while. It's kind of like Myst where the rooms are static in a way. There was a sequel to it, I think, called 11th Hour.

I am actually not too much for puzzles.

Then you might not like it, but if it's cheap enough why not give it a try?
I'd love to see both 7th Guest and 11th Hour on here. I still have the CDs for 11th Hour but never played 7th Guest. 11th Hour had a good range of puzzles, but IIRC they were more or less "self-contained" puzzles, not the sort where you had to go hunt halfway across the rest of the house to find the clues to solve one room's puzzle. The puzzle I remember most clearly was a toy train layout with a switching yard. There was a locomotive with a string of attached cars; each car had a letter on it, and you had to rearrange the cars using the rail switch(es) to spell the correct word (the right word was pretty obvious). The game was more or less a string of "casual game"-type puzzles with a good and well-executed story connecting them.
This is good news.
If all of the FMV stuff works, then I'd recommend it to anyone.

I still have to try by myself but they say they should work very well, indeed....

Next step is to get Phantasmagoria working.
I'd pay $20 easily for that on here.

You are addicted to FMV and "interactive movie" games of the Nineties, aren't you? :-P
Anyway, from a little research within the ScummVM wiki, Phantasmagoria use the Sierra's Creative Interpreter engine, that is currently not supported but the VM....
Oh, and it should be a Windows game....

I do love me some FMV games.
As for Phantasmagoria, it is quite problematic. Although it should work on Windows, it's one of those which only does on the 95/98 systems.
Same with Harvester...had a hell of a time trying to get that to work on DOSbox.
.....damn I love that genre.
