Well it certainly needs to be tempered with common sense, but in my experience that really is the best rule to live by when it comes to relationships.

Just remember, with 48 laws of great power come 48 laws of great responsibility.
It's a Cosmo advice column processed through one of those feminist gender inversion web scripts.
I had no idea this book even existed. After googling I must ask: Does it take itself seriously?

The rules may seem cold, but they do seem strangely true, of course, I wouldn't live my entire life by them, but there are a few that you could pull out for some situations.

Manipulation is not best though unless you are only interested in sex. People dislike people who manipulate and once you manipulate someone, he or she will see what you are and cut you off or worse.
I was kidding about the manipulation being the best part. I just needed something to offset the sickly sweetness of everything will be ok if you just use love

Right. I've never heard of them before, but when I read the summary I my first thought was "these are rules for the mentally disturbed."
Great name for a sex blog
