Dear GOG Users!
First of all, on behalf of the whole GOG team I'd like to thank you very much for your support and all positive comments we have received in so many posts. This really makes us believe that we do the right thing and gives us even more power and motivation to continue our way of bringing classic games with 100% DRM-free policy.
Second thing is, that if you are happy about what we offer here, please help to spread the word about GOG in other places. We do our best to be visible in as many places as we can, but our efforts have their limits, as there are not as many people working on GOG communication across the web as we'd like (actually two guys, Vandal and me).
Please do not treat it as a request, or something that we expect you to do. No... We just say, help us if you really feel (from deep inside) comfortable with it, and if you think that GOG is worth your help.
Once again, thank you everyone!
And have fun!
GOG.com team via Cook :)
EDIT: You can check our "Spread the word" section to get some banners and maybe even buy yourself a GOG t-shirt!

Hi guys. I'm new to this place.
I want to buy UT2004 but the currency used here is $ and I have euros. Will the bank do the exchange currency or I simply can't buy it.

Most banks will automatically convert the currency for you, though a few banks will impose additional currency conversion fee.
Massive thanks to you guys, love this site. Getting to play games that I've never heard of and I love all the extras i.e soundtracks and things like the fallout bible. Makes it just that extra bit better. Thanks!!
just reposting this because I think it's awesome

Paypal is good for converting it with no fee. Any bank I could use in the UK has a % fee with a minimum fee that could be more than the game. Paypal has a worse exchange rate than xe.com but not by much.
Always mention your deals at work guys, us older techies love those games from the 90's :)
And I really appreciate the work you put into unbundling them into those installers, makes them well worth the minimal fee you charge.
Thanks for you're doing - great idea!
I've been a console gamer all my life and the main reason I never got into computer gaming was because it was never affordable for me (not to mention I didn't even own a computer until about 2004). This site came along and opened my eyes to a whole new way to game. So, a big THANK YOU to all the people who make this site possible!

Similar experiences here. Wonder how many people GOG is turning into players of PC games old and new.

WE REQUIRE ADDITIONAL UPVOTES!

Done.
We should do these (+digg and whatever else) for all major releases and post them here for people to vote on.

Agreed
I stumbled across GOG today and I am thrilled. I remember when I opened up Mircrosoft Adventure out of the box and played on my brand new IBM PC, I wanted an Apple but Dad said this was better, lol. I thought old PC games I played would be gone forever down memory lane. I will spread the word and hope we get some vintage games like Bards Tale and Wizardry into the fold too !
