Some days ago I have reached the 1111 Days on GOG.com mark and I have got to know the nice, great and colorful GOG.com community.
I am very grateful for being part of this community and the DRM-free revolution (can not wait for TW3).
But unfortunately I have to say good bye (at least for a while) which makes me sad.
I have stardted with my full time informatics study.
Due to this I had to cancel many of my side projects (even the xgogdownloader project and a software project which startet with high ambitions but got no support by former supporters =( ) as the study consumes very much of my freetime.
I have bought around 80-90% of the whole catalog of GOG.com but can not download and play them all (slow internet connection, no time).
All the promos are very addicting and I had to spend some money (you will see why in the next sentence) on other things and so I had to stop to buy games and send them also as gifts to friends.
Today I have married my girlfriend - we were engaged for almost a year, some of you may remember - and now a new chapter in my life begins.
For the future I am just working on one last single project (some sort of network), which helps me to be successful with my own company in the future (at least live from the earnings and stay independent).
From now on I have to resist these amazing community and promos and concentrate on the study, the last project and the business of my wife (I support/help her with it). Now I have to save my money and start earning money to live from.
So a big good bye and a great thank you to all of you making GOG.com awesome, you are the best community I have ever been a part of =)
