I am probably in the wrong place to post this, and for that I apologize, but I'm about to leave for work and only have about five minutes to post this.

I just wanted to send out a heartfelt THANK YOU to the GOG team for making my Thief series complete (Except for Thief:4, which just came out.) The sale today brings every installment of the Garrett files to my hard drive for playing anywhere-- no more need to cart around the discs I've literally been keeping since 2000!

You are very much appreciated!

I have played and beaten all three of the Thief titles that were released prior to this February. I know how awesome they are.

Randal, while you are correct that there is no "Thief 4" by title, since the 4th installment is simply called "Thief" as the first one was before the Gold pack upgrade, to save confusion I simply refer to it as Thief 4. It was released on February 28th of this year, and as soon as I finish my master's degree I'll be buying a PS4 for that reason alone.

I think he doesn't like the game, so it doesn't exist kind of how there was only one Matrix film for most people (I will die on my sword now and admit I actually liked the Matrix sequals)

Yeah, the problem with sequels is they have stuff to live up to, and most people tend to focus on what was, instead of what is.

My ex-girlfriend called The Matrix a sectarian film after we finished watching it together (it was about my 7th rewatch).
Let's just say she didn't get any D action that evening after such shockingly disgusting remark. :D

I am not interested in arguing with you, Randal, whatever your motivation may be for trying to irritate me. I like the Thief franchise. I may or may not like the fourth game, but I didn't ask for your opinion here. I started this thread PURELY to thank the GOG development team for putting my favorite game franchise on sale, not to start a discussion about the Matrix or for any other reason.

The first one was okay, for some mindless action I felt, but the sequels were TERRIBLE I didn't even really like the first one that much. I know plenty of people who LOVE all of them and I just don't understand that, even if you love the first one how can you possibly like the other two? I can't even decide which one I think is worse.
