I am not going to air my personal shit on the internet, but let's just say something has happened that makes me alone and broke for the foreseeable future.

It is at times like these I thank God that video game releases are dry as a bone in the summertime. There is literally nothing I really want until Deus Ex: Human Revolution on August 23rd, which is two full months away. Yahoo!

In the meantime I think I will play through Fable 3 and Dungeon Siege 3 and then maybe go back in time and finally play through the entire Baldur's Gate saga from beginning to end again. Been wanting to do that for years.

How are you spending the summer dry months?
Going through my backloggery and completing (or recompleting) every single game I own. It's... Going to take a while.

Working and buying more games that I'll never have the time to play...
Witcher - Witcher 2 - Oblivion 5th Year Release - Not much else till Skyrim
After exams are done on Monday I'm gonna be relaxing. Probably finishing some of the games on backlog, hanging out with some friends, and trying some of the games I didn't have time to learn during school (X3 and EU3).
Sorry to hear that, StingingVelvet.

I'm working on my backloggery. Time to complete some of these titles.
Yeah, car accidents suck man. They drain money quickly.

Whatever it is, I hope it works out for you and you have fun with your games, that's what they're meant for, to be played. :)
I have less mainstream tastes in games I guess, so this summer is being much more interesting for me. There are a bunch of games I need. I haven't been beating any of the games I buy recently though, so I have sworn off any new purchases for a while. Except for Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. Earth Defense Force 2017 was my favorite shooter since the 90's, so I have to pick up the sequel.
Slow? Super Street Fighter IV AE next week >_< Yes one of the few games I pre-ordered.

To be honest it shouldn't be slow but the three big titles Duke Nukem, Dungeon Siege 3 and F3AR seem to be big disappointments.

Sorry something happened. *hug* I'm just playing through my backlog of games, but I'll be away from my computer for a month. :(

Yeah, it's subjective for sure. Still Summer is usually known as a dry period for new games.
Try Descent! It's in the new staycation package :)
I love summer. I'm spending my time taking advantage of the long days, working to save money so I can take off most of the harsh winter months. That is when I do most of my game playing. What free time I do have has been spent playing Crusader.

Playing through the Baldur's Gate saga from beginning to end sounds awesome. I think that will have to be one of my winter projects as well this year :)

I want to re-buy Descent because of the Descent homage level in Red Faction Armageddon. Not sure I can buy anything for a while though, we'll have to see.
