It's community made.

I stand corrected; thanks for the info.
If there's no hostage mode with El Presidente like from TFC, I don't wanna hear about it.
Happy to see they are continuing with per-character updates. Rarely see the Scout in the games I've played of TF2, so I'll expect more now (people practising, and then the release).

Every single class has a specific reason for existing in TF2. The Scout is no exception. I admit the Scout has somewhat more limited use. Mainly useful for rushing at round starts, sneaking behind enemy lines for quick caps, and flag runner once the infantry has cleared the enemy. But the Scout definitely has his moments under the right conditions in the right maps.
Of course.
It's rather well balanced, from the short times I've played it. Could just be the games I've been in, not been playing it that long really.

Why the urge to troll ? I love GOG and I love TF2 (which is made by Valve who is the owner of Steam)

edit:
Runnin’ rings around all them molasses-slow dummies out there on the battle- field is thirsty frickin’ work. But when it comes to quenchin’ that thirst, only one thermonuclear thirst detonator packs all the “Atomic Punch” you’ll ever need. Bonk! is fulla radiation, which as we all know is pretty great for givin’ people superpowers. Just one can’ll blast ya into a few-second rush of radioactive energy so powerful you’ll be dodgin’ bullets like they ain’t even there!
Note: Bonk! contains several hundred times the daily recommended allowance of sugar. After the beneficial effects of the radiation wear off, drinkers have reported experiencing feelings of lethargy that can last several seconds. Reading this sentence absolves Bonk! of any liability for killing sprees inspired by or deaths resulting from the ingestion of Bonk! Enjoy Bonk! responsibly… Or by the case!

Yeah... when I first started playing, I was always annoyed when people would seemingly choose classes that I thought were worthless. But the more you play, the more you appreciate and understand just how perfect and deliberate the dynamics of the class interaction was designed.
When TF2 came out last year, I had just quit my job living off of my savings, so I had all the time in the world. I was putting in a good 40+ hours of TF2 per week for at least a couple of months. The only other game that completely immersed me enough so that I lost track of reality was GTA III that came out seven years ago. That's how good I thought TF2 was since I've become so jaded towards videogames in general these days.
I slowly weaned off of TF2 in the last few months. I probably won't have time to get back to it anytime soon, but when I do, hopefully all those updates will have rolled out to keep the experience refreshing.
if you check the photo from the last update, his gun is not the scatter gun, it's completely different.
The achievements have descriptions now.
this thread on the steam forums brings to light some funny information. seems we could be duped.
