Hey.
I'm not sure how many of you guys actually play, have played or have any interest in TF2, but I might as well create the thread, in case anyone is interested.
Yesterday the Team Fortress 2 team posted a new post on their blog, referring to some secret projects, Steam Workshop Blog and announced that it's the year we get "Meet The Pyro" - the final "Meet the team" video.
That's all nice and cool, but "Meet The Pyro" was bound to happen. So this time another thing caught my attention and got my hope up sky high, this line specifically:
"This year, expect the Saxxys to be much bigger and better, due to the imminent unveiling of another secret."
Now I already expressed my opinion about this on Steam Forums, but I suppose not many people know what I'm talking about. Chance here might be slimmer, as there are even less TF2 players in here, but no one should get hurt from me trying. (Tell me if you do get hurt, because of this thread.)
Anyway, I'm almost completely sure that this "another secret" must be the finally finished version of Source FilmMaker, the tool that Valve used to create "Meet The Team" videos, pretty much a wet dream of any fan.
The reasoning behind this claim is that this secret has been refereed to alongside a Team Fortress 2 "movie" making contest. Last year, when the first Saxxy's took place we got a replay feature. I really can't think of anything they could give us, if not Source FilmMaker. Which, if some of you don't know, is considered rather hard to get, as it was "released" with a less than legal TF2 Beta Version (Not the one we have on steam now.) and was rather buggy. (Though, it is still used by some TF2 video makers on youtube.)
Anyway, sorry for the long post (it looks long in this little window, at least) and I hope someone gives a duck and wants to share their opinion too.
