tikeno: Came half an hour ago. I've already got all the games, so if anyone wants them and doesn't have them (it's an all-in-one redemption; ie, can't be seperated).
I'm only missing Overseer from the Tex Murphy series. Is this like other GOG gifts codes? if it is, you only redeem the games you don't have and the others are still avaible to redeem for someone else.

If anyone has a spare code that I could use for Tex Murphy Overseer, it would be greatly appreciated . Thank you!

It's an eight character code. I'm not overly familliar with GOG codes, but aren't they normally four groups of characters seperated by hyphens?

Gift codes are the 16 character format. Bonus codes are the 8 character ones, though they are a bit rarer. Not sure if you can only redeem some of the games, but at least you won't have to dig around for the bonus redeem page, since it's currently the same as the gift redeem one.
tl;dr Don't worry, should work fine.
Just got mine and redeemed it for Overseer.

Don't suppose there's been any word on when the Big Finish pack (Three Cards etc) will be made available to backers?
Cannot wait for this to be released!
Trying to finish up Under A Killing Moon and the others again in preparation.
I'm enjoying them even more so far as an adult.
Timeless classics for sure.

That they are, UaKM was actually my first Tex Murphy game owned, though I played the first two on a friend's computer when they came out. It wasn't until playing UaKM that I figured out they are a series. I remember playing the demo with the alleyway about 50 times and showing it to my folks trying to convince them to get me it for my birthday, and on that Christmas (I was looking at my birthday the NEXT year) they got it for me and I played the game probably a good 25 times in a row before taking a break. Though I went back to it another several times a few months later. Such an amazing testament to what FMV actually CAN be, much like Wing Commander, a brilliant work.
Any word on this thing coming out?

I'm not worried about it being late, I'm worried about there seeming to be no new updates since the kickstarter ended a year ago.
By the end of the year I think, the first pictures from filming (showing some of the new actors and Tex) were posted on the backer forums a fortnight or so ago, the game also has an IMDB article now which lists the cast.

I'm interested in how they're doing the FMV though, in terms of video encoding and format, and how it works into Unity. Especially if they plan to just use actors against greenscreen and then billeted as sprites into 3D scenes, that method looked quite dodgy back in the 90's but I'm curious how it would look with today's tech.

Why do you say that when the last update was 15th of May? That's less than a month ago. Or maybe you're referring to public update? Because yes, they don't have much publicly. Many projects take this way and talk about progress only to backers.

Oh, they did the Dead State thing. That's really dumb.

Well how's the progress going then?
They pretty much finished shooting the video.

There's been few updates. Last I heard they were wrapping up the shooting of the video and otherwise progressing as expected.

For what it's worth, this is the first and only official screenshot from the game.

Here's yet another one (I don't recall it being labeled as "for backers only").
