stonebro: I'll just say that I'm currently pledging at the ABOVE $1000 level for this, so yeah. This is a once in a lifetime thing for me. I'll never, ever, ever, come anywhere close to pledging this kind of money to anything again, unless it's a cure to my OWN cancer.

I won't divulge the exact amount but it's more than 10 times what I've pledged for any other KS campaign.

Hope to see this one break 40% above before we're done. And if there are non-pledging lurkers in this thread, chip in that $15. Please. This is the second greatest adventure game series of all time.

When I receive my 5 game codes for the Tex Murphy series on here, I'll host a giveaway, only open to backers of the project that do not yet own the series on GOG.
Inspired me to up my pledge as well. Went from $150 to $160 to $250.
Tex Murphy is the one and only series that I'll ever support via Kickstarter. I simply do not give enough of a damn about other games (except maybe unless Van Buren was somehow brought back to life).

In order to get some perspective I calculated that it's about 35 and a half pints that I will not be drinking this month. On that topic, I was at the Oslo airport a while ago and a pint cost me 11 euros. What the hell?

So they hit 130%!
Cannot believe it! Well done and thanks to everyone who chipped in!
Any further funding will go towards expanding game content and better actors.

I genuinely cannot wait for this game and fingers crossed everyone for the raffle (will take place on http://www.bigfinishgames.com/ )

i gotta say, i feel like we're pretty lucky :)
In the pre-schafer era of kickstarter they were known for keeping a harder line with projects, and sometimes they shut things down pretty quickly if there was anything remotely objectionable like this.
From the sounds of the update they treated us very nicely about this.

We'll finish somewhere between 135 and 140%. With the $250k the team are themselves throwing in the pot, we have a fairly nice budget for this game! (And also all the swag I'll be getting).

Thanks everyone for your support here and to GOG for promoting the campaign with their great promo etc. Oh and for helping keep Tex alive and widely available by having past games here of course.

Ooh nice the PayPal is still rolling. I remember it said 10,733 in PayPal last I looked.

Came half an hour ago. I've already got all the games, so if anyone wants them and doesn't have them (it's an all-in-one redemption; ie, can't be seperated).
