Just to put it out there, despite some initial misperceptions, the new game is being made with ZERO DRM and no DLC reward. It will be 100% game-freedom-friendly and completely eligible for GOG.

You say it will have no DLC but one of the reward tiers mentions DLC. Am I reading that wrong?

Previously there was a special DLC exclusively for the people who pitched in $x.
This has now apparently been removed.

That tier is closed, but they can't delete it. There's a new tier now, that replaces the DLC with a Shot Glass. They decided all copies of the game ($15 tier up) would get the DLC after there was a strong negative reaction to it.

That's because they can't modify the existing pledge tiers after they're created. That's why this one is "locked", and there's another 150$ tier with a shot glass instead.
Check the first update for details.

I'm not sure if they're able to rewrite the reward tiers. They did say in at least two updates that were would be no DLC.

EDIT: Double ninja'd! South America and Central Europe have conspired against me!

I'm really hoping for a 50% off weekend deal for all the Tex Murphy games in the near future, would tie in very nicely with the Project Fedora kickstarter campaign.

I bought all the Tex-games from GOG but at the time really didn't have the computer to run UAKM or Pandora good enough. Now I have and I'm replaying Pandora. It really is a very good game and surprisingly good looking now that I'm able to run it properly.

So I pledged for the the Tex Murphy game on Kickstarter. Of course I did. Go Chris and Aaron.
