Yeah, yesterday was an improvement over the weekend but today is being noticeably slow. It'll be worrying if we don't hit the 10k mark...
I can't imagine this will have problems. Following Grim Dawn, the game reached every single stretch goal TWICE. People just kept forking money at it... but most of it came at the trail end of the project.

There is a reason the campaigns last as long as they do... the days will pass and do their job ;)

lowyhong: campy
Hey sorry forgot about this question.
Why do I find UAKM campy?

*MAJOR SPOILERS*
I.e. the overly dumb characters. The dumb criminal.
Ardo.
The dude running through the wall.
The dumb blonde.
etc. There's more.
Also, I don't really like the whole shapeshifter theme. I'd be willing to buy it if the clothes weren't involved. Shift your own skin - ok. Shift your clothes? Wth?

I just prefer the serious (also humorous, but not silly) tone in PD.
New article on RPS:

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/05/22/chris-jones-talks-tex-bringing-back-tex-murphy/

RPS: How much do you think the previous games’ presence on GOG.com has been an influence on how popular the games still are?

Chris Jones: I think it’s been great. There have been instances where this being up on a website for years and years, people discover it and ask what the deal is with the Tex Murphy games, and people refer them quickly to GOG, and they’ve been able to get copies of the game and play them, and go, “Wow, I had no idea of the depth and how advanced the storytelling you guys had generated.” So GOG has been great for that. It’s been wonderful.
i just sent them a message asking about gog article possibilities and got this response:
Thanks for your message. An article on GOG.com is a great idea! We'll definitely look into it!

They more or less replied similarly to a couple of suggestions I gave them as well... let's hope we'll see more activity from them (more articles, interviews, videos), I think each time they make one more there's a boost in pledges...
I'm streaming Under A Killing Moon Day 2 here:

gog is getting some much publicity as I might add the word "free" they should do something on their main page

Ah ok I figured as much. Yeah I thought some of the scenes were a bit overboard.

We didn't make it to 10k yesterday. D=
we will more than make up for it on the final days rush
we were still over the amount we need per day yesterday (even if just barely). Kindv worried about today, but we're still in pretty great shape.
I never thought I would see another Tex Murphy game made. I am hoping that proves to be wrong! My childhood seems to be rising from the ashes lately - LSL being remade by Al Lowe, Two Guys from Andromeda working on another Sci-Com, Jane Jensen working on another game, and now this! All I need now is for Lord British to revive Britannia (Ultima), Ken and Roberta WIlliams to pop back to Daventry (King's Quest), Corey and Lori Ann Cole to return to the world of Gloriana (Quest for Glory)...

I think it is going ok. And I for one, am ready to up my pledge if need be.

I think I will end up upping my pledge as well. I can stand to benefit from skipping lunch for a while :-p
