JudasIscariot: It's amazing what people pulling pledges can do to change whether there is DRM in a game or not...

OK, lowy....what did you say earlier? :P

No :)

Well, as long as you didn't say that my mom wears army boots or something, I guess I can let you slide on your ninja edit :P
Yeah I'm glad I was fast enough. The monks of Shangri-La taught me well. I feel a bit hypocritical for what I typed, since I didn't really believe in it myself.

Red_Avatar: Dear lord you guys can complain <.<. Just do like everyone else and get a crack if activation servers ever go down. Don't forget even games like Lemmings all the way back in the early 90s had DRM (you had to use the supplied disk to play it, couldn't copy it and if it broke, you lost the game).
If I'm expected to rely on piracy to be able to own a game I've backed to the tune of several hundred dollars, then I won't be backing it. If a crack is inevitable why have activation in the first place?

It's good news if they have done a U turn but I'm wary after being told the exact opposite less than an hour before the update. I've asked for some clarification and won't be reinstating my pledge without the right answer.

One day, I will catch you before you ninja edit something :D.

We don't have monks of Shangri-La in Poland. We do, however, have Drunken Masters....

Jeezus. I'm suffering from some real cognitive dissonance now. I can't seem to into reading atm.

Was it something I wrote?
No, it's something I wrote. I completely took Red_Avatar's post out of context, and I don't even know how. I need to lie down for a bit. Been awake since 3am (it's 4.30pm now), keeping track of the DRM discussion on the Kickstarter comments thread and this thread until I had to leave for school at 9am..

Drm free or not the rate it is going now (barely $10k a day) it might get hard to reach the goal.
Hopefully there are alot of last minute backers.

Keep a close eye on this:

It tends to stabilize after the first 3 days, but we'll see.

"Project Update #2: Official Word - DRM Free!
Posted by Chris Jones & Aaron Conners Like

Hello Backers!

We just want to make one thing very clear. We are indeed planning to have the new Tex Murphy game "Project Fedora" DRM free. We don't know where the communication errors began, but you may quote us on the fact that we are DRM - Free.

Thank you guys for the support!

Official word from Aaron Conners and Chris Jones. "

No DRM. Now pay up. I did.
Well, that's a relief.

Longcat: ...
Already posted that, and the confirmation that it didn't mean online activation. ;)
In case anyone missed it: They have confirmed to me by PM that it'll definitely be DRM-free.

Get pledging!
