umm... ok... why can't I see the PM button, or online status? I can't find any setting where I turned it off (maybe I am blind)

try clearing your browser cache (ctrl+F5, i think)

Mouse over someone's name in the forum. You should see their status and an orange PM button right next to their status. Are you using Chrome? I had someone who was using Chrome tell me they couldn't see everything either.

WBGhiro: try clearing your browser cache (ctrl+F5, i think)
Also, if you were using the browser plugin for Barefoot Monkey's PM system, you should remove it (it covers up the PM button).

ahhh, thanks everyone, that was the problem :) I had to clear the cache, it seems Chrome is clinging to its old data way too much.
